The Rio Chico (Small River) is one of the two most important watercourses that cross the Estancia. The estate occupies both margins and the valley of the river, and includes one of the most vigorous fractions of the forest of Southern Tierra del Fuego. It is the largest fraction of the Estancia, and the only one that surpasses the 1.000 hectares limit. East of the river a sector of gentle slopes begins, that gives way to a series of terraces, historically used for grazing and pasture production. |
