The estate faces the area in which the Beagle Channel begins to fade, first, into the Moat Channel, and, immediately after, into the immensity of the South Atlantic. The coast is characterized by a sequence of ample beaches, followed by a series of low hills with a rounded shape. Over the last few years, a series of archaeological sites have been discovered in the area. The first results of its study suggest a long and intense occupation of the area by the Fuegian natives.
